Financial Analyst, Business Entity Finance - 1251730

What You'll Do

You will become the Wireless Finance Demand Analyst who is responsible for helping drive profitable growth in the Wireless Business Unit in-partnership with the Wireless Controller and the Product Management team ($2.5B top-line annually). The key activities you will be responsible for, include long-term & short-term planning for bookings, working with Product Management teams to understand new offers and set them up in eGenie, ensure demand forecast to supply chain business partners is accurate, leading activities intended to yield margin expansion, ensuring Controllership & Compliance, providing leadership for execution as well as to promote growth.

You will:

• Be the primary bookings/demand lead for the finance team including ownership of bookings, PID set-up, product hierarchy for Wireless business
• Drive initiatives intended to result in improved growth and/or margin expansion in-partnership with Wireless BU product management and associated cross-functional teams.
• Engage to provide strategic business support while driving higher expectations for accountability leveraging a deep understanding of the business model and market environment. Includes a continuous focus on evaluating and developing new business models.
• Own Wireless quantity and bookings forecasts, including Avg Selling Price
• Analyze and deliver weekly bookings report
• Partner with Enterprise Segment finance and central BTOF teams for purposes of consolidation & reporting related to bookings
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of the business.
• Influence change across the Enterprise Segment and other broad areas of Cisco, by working with and leading a number of key continuous improvement initiatives.

The Finance team is focused on maximizing profitable growth, accelerating analytics to drive portfolio decisions and profitability, driving productivity and alignment across the organization, and expanding the breadth of financial expertise.

Who You Are

You have a proven ability to work with and successfully influence an executive team. You have a basic understanding of Software models, recurring and deferred revenue and prior excel modeling experience.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

• You hold a Bachelors' Degree in Finance or Business related field and 3+ years related Finance experience, with 2+ of those years with exposure to P&L concepts, within short and long-termhorizons.
• You bring with you, excellent written and verbal leadership communication skills
• You are process orientated and able to create capacity through process innovation
• You have the ability to assimilate multiple data points into consolidated, completed work product
• You have solid prioritization skills
• You are highly motivated with the ability to drive to a result
