Job description

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in supporting strategic pricing initiatives, providing pricing insights to business partners and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and drive pricing analytics roadmap for building out new metrics, analytical templates and reports required to drive informed business decisions
  • Develop and demonstrate Tableau expertise in building new dashboards and analytical templates
  • Analyze bookings, revenue and deal pricing trends/drivers/impact and provide commentary for QBR with Business Entity Finance SVP
  • Analyze, develop and maintain Discount Guidance by product family and sales theaters, analyze product, software and services discount segmentation by deal size, customer size, industry vertical, competition etc.
  • Craft training material and deliver pricing training to cross functional teams including Commercial Finance, Sales and Services Finance and BTOF
  • Support Finance, Sales and BU business partners on ad hoc pricing analytics requests
  • Support Pricing & Discounting Policy due diligence and analysis and implement policy for price categorization

Who You'll Work With

The Pricing & Software Strategy team focuses on pricing impact analysis, metrics and reporting for deals, bookings and revenue. We support the Pricing Executive Committee on key initiatives designed to drive margin expansion and growth. We also work with cross-functional teams in Sales, BU, Operations and IT extensively to drive strategic pricing decisions and enable new system capabilities. Who You Are

You have strong written and oral communication skills. You bring experience working with finanical reporting systems, are detail orientated, a self starter and results driven

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ year relevant working experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with financial reporting systems
