What You'll Do
The primary responsibility of this position is to capture, develop, validate and collectively embed Data Protection and Privacy by Design Requirements into Enterprise Business Operation's Development and Governance Processes across Cisco, ultimately ensuring compliance can be verified.
- In this role you will engage across Data Security, Information Security, Data Protection, and Privacy teams to identify new policy and regulatory data requirements, desired capabilities, assessments and or improvements.
- You will serve as DP&P's multi-functional "gate" administrator and hence lead DP&P's requirements through appropriate EBO Software Development Lifecycle gates, from Architecture through EOL.
- Lead analysis of requirements from DP&P to be embedded into governance processes to ensure strategy and delivery alignment, including but not limited to:
- Policy & Standard controls and capabilities
- Assessment improvements
- Data capture requirements
- Collaborate with S&TO and IT Partners to develop and support a data security strategy, including data security monitoring.
- Develop business requirements for new technical capabilities or processes needed for Data Protection and collaborate with S&TO and IT on architecture, testing and implementation

You should demonstrate a validated execution track record with impactful results.
Who You Are
You would need to understand existing enterprise governance and assessment processes as well as newly developing processes including CSDL, CSDL for Enterprise, Privacy/Data Impact Assessments, CASPR, CATO, IT Risk Management, IT Continuous Delivery, ideally orchestrating simple and repeatable solutions. Familiarity with these industry data concepts, models and practices would be required.
RequiredSkills:
- Knowledge of Cisco' Software Development Lifecycle, Cisco's Cloud Authority to Operate Process and internal Cisco governance processes.
- Familiarity with Product Security Baseline structure.
- Exceptional delivery with organized and tangible results, while also keeping an eye on the changing industry requirements and potential solutions.
- Adaptable, flexible and open to partner input/feedback, as part of a co-design approach.
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work this position will perform and the government customers with which the role will work
Desired Skills:
- CIPM or similar Privacy certification
- Cisco Security Ninja Green Belt or Higher
- Ability to influence without authority
