What You'll Do

Cisco is hiring a Data Engineer/Data Alalyst to support our Supply Chain Organization in San Jose, CA.

In this role, you'll design and build solutions for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from various sources.

You will design and implement data platforms, develop advanced analytics workflows and reports, buildout of processing and computing platforms. Support the integration, management and analysis of large and diverse datasets. Build automated pipelines to clean, prepare, and enrich data and ultimately integrate into a common data platform to be presented to customers and stakeholders. Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.

Who You'll Work With

The Technology and Quality Solutions Group's Data Analytics team is responsible for developing and maintaining platforms to securely and reliably deliver high-quality data used for advanced modeling and drive data-driven decision making. You will be working with domain experts and Supply Chain professionals to support business processes and enable decision-making.

Who You Are

• You have a BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 2+ years experience working in data engineering, data warehousing, or business intelligence development.
• Working knowledge & understanding of data center hardware and technology, technology infrastructure, and cloud services.
• Substantial knowledge of data management and databases. Working knowledge of ETL technologies, Spark, MapReduce, HDFS, Cassandra, Kafka, and Python.
