Become part of Cisco's fast growing and exciting Software Cyber-Security team. We are actively building a next-generation security service designed to automatically validate the integrity of our crypto-systems.
What You'll Do
We are searching for ajunior software engineerto join a team defining our next-generation automated cryptography validation service. You will work closely with Cisco's Global Certification Team (GCT) team and Cisco's engineering teams to design a work flow, tools, and processes to deliver unprecedented validation and integrity of our cryptography shipping in products. You should be well versed in building web services and have the ability to learn cryptography from a team of experts. You will be responsible for designing and developing tools and processes and also partner with engineering teams in the integration of our software into their architecture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires BSCS, BSEE or equivalent experience
- Initiative, drive, ability to learn.
- Passion for software cyber-security.
- Ability to work multi-functionally and gain cooperation of others
- Software Development in multiple languages (e.g. C, Python or Java)
- Linux
Desired Skills:
- Full stack Web Service Application Development
- Python/flask experience
- Linux Containers: Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Open Source software models
- Knowledge of agile software development practices
