What You'll Do
You will support the overall management of the EMEAR Country Digitization Acceleration (CDA) programme, and will help drive specifically identified projects across EMEAR. You will initially start with the Ireland CDA project and also support the wider EMEAR programme. You will develop specific expertise in a subset of EMEAR CDA projects that can then be used in other CDA EMEAR countries, and will work closely with the country specific CDA PMOs to drive programme reporting and management.
Responsibilities:
The CDA Regional Leads are accountable for CDA country reporting and forecasting but as a Project and Programme Manager you should assist in the operation of:
- Collecting data from country PMOs
- Distributing and implementing best practice & process
Outcomes:
- Successful Country CDA programmes
- Successful CDA EMEAR projects
- Adherence to common CDA processes by the PMOs
- Complete and accurate CDA plans and reports
- Up to date and complete CDA use cases
Who You'll Work With
The Country Digitization Acceleration (CDA) Program is a Cisco investment program that forms a partnership between selected governments and Cisco to advance the digital agenda in the selected CDA countries.
The projects within each national CDA program are designed to better serve citizens and foster a fast-growing, inclusive economy, while in-turn driving strategic growth for Cisco.
The workstreams and projects align with a country's national priorities. Typically they are centered on the Digitization of Health, Education, Cities, Industry, Transportation and Utilities.
In addition there is often also a focus on national cybersecurity, entrepreneurship and digital inclusion.
CDA has been running for over 3 years and has programs in 24 countries worldwide. The EMEAR CDA team manages the program across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The program is run by local teams in the individual CDA countries but managed and supported by the global CDA team. The EMEAR CDA team is part of the global team that mobilizes and supports the local CDA teams that are executing the individual country programs.
Who You Are
You will likely bring the following experience and skills:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in project management, ideally in the business and technology consulting environment
- General technology background with an interest in government affairs
- Bachelor Degree required, ideally from one of the top universities in Ireland
- Fluency in English is required and additional languages are preferred
- Strategic Planning
- Business Development & Opportunity Management
- Cross-functional teamwork
- Programme Management (Finance & Reporting oversight)
