CONSULTING ENGINEER

What will you do:
In this highly visible customer facing role as Validation Services NCE, you will:
-Lead next generation R&S and Data Center for Enterprise customers to support implementation of new platform/solution.
-Drive requirement discussion, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, execute and document results.
-Collaborate with solution architects from delivery and sales team and collaborate on future initiatives to win customer business.
-Identify key issues, gaps and drive with engineering and delivery to resolve issues.
-Develop/integrate new technology into lab pods.
-Innovate to gain efficiency.
-Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements.
-Identify new opportunities of growth.
-Collaborate with other engineers and participate as member of engineering team to ensure successful project delivery. --- Engage with customers and other Cisco stakeholders on successful planning and execution of validation engagements.

Who will you work with
Drive Cisco services growth by designing next generation solution labs and validation solutions for Enterprise and SP customers. Influence customer on Cisco Route &Switch solutions to improve their experience.


Who you are
- Routing and Switching experience, R&S and/or SP CCIE preferred
- MPLS, LAN Switching, Data Center, Validation experience preferred
- IOS XR, NX-OS, and IOS configuration and test
- Cisco platforms: ASR9K, Cisco R&S platforms, N7K
- Strong communication skills(written, verbal and presentation)
- Test experience

Desired Skills
- Cloud/Virtualization experience
- Service provider and or Enterprise lab/production network experience
- WAN, LAN knowledge, IP internetworking
- MPLS knowledge
- Knowledge of Industry Test Tools
