What you'll do
It connects Cisco's industry leading solution portfolio in Networking, Data Centre, Security and Collaboration with customers in the Enterprise, Public Sector and Commercial segment via rare propositions of our Service Providers Channel partners. Responsible for the future development and growth of this business across the Greater China region.
You will focus on five distinct responsibilities:
- You will be leading a high skilled business development team across GC working on defining, developing and launching new Managed Service offerings across our solution portfolio
- Your role will be to lead the SP Channel Sales community of Account Channel Leaders, Partner Account Managers, Business Development and Technical Specialists; Acting as their voice into Cisco's Sales, Engineering and Partner organisations
- Working on executive level with our Service Provider Channel Partners, Cisco country sales organisations and Cisco Service Provider infrastructure sales teams to identify and development new areas of business partnership and growth
- Leading sales by owning insights into and reporting of Channel bookings and forecast, key business performance indicators, major market, industry trends
- Influencing Channel strategy in regards to the evolution of the product, services and solution portfolio, meaningful partner programs, compensation schemes for Cisco's salesforce and the alignment of different business units and sales divisions.
Who You'll work with
Most importantly the Channel Director will build and be an excellent partner with B2B Sales, Marketing and Product Management executives across our biggest and most important Service Provider Channel partners.
The channel SBDM will also frequently work with senior leaders from Cisco's Engineering and Services Business Units, Global and GC Partner Organisation, Cisco Capital and key supporting functions such as Finance and Operations.

The primary responsibility of the Partner Account Manager is to work with Cisco's Partners to grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions. You will work with their assigned Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco and to his/her Partners in strategic focus areas.You build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against emerging competitors. You should be "phenomenal teammates" with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally within Cisco to develop ideas, share standard methodologies and execute business plans.
