What You'll Do

The UX QA Analyst role is important to helping build the best quality software for the enterprise networking business.

Collaborating with UI/UX designers and testing specialists, this is a role that will challenge you to push the organization's thinking in new and user-centric ways. Working hand-in-hand with these experience designers, product management and engineering teams, you are responsible for the overall UI/UX Quality of the products and solutions by testing the UI fit and finish, performance and responsiveness of the UI and making sure that the UI matches the design specifications delivered by the UX designer.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with a team of UX Designers and UI Developers from India and US team to create and execute test cases for the module.
  • Validate user stories in context of Scenarios.
  • Test the content presented to the user and the micro interactions.
  • Error Testing to make sure that the messages provide appropriate feedback and do not dramatically interfere with the experience.
  • Prepare Test Environment to execute the test cases.
  • Track defects and give information of a defect to UI Developers in order to fix it.
  • Prepare Summary Reports, and lesson learned documents from the previous testing experience.
  • Prepare suggestion documents to improve the UI quality of the application.
  • Conduct Review Meetings within the UX team and also with the UI Development team.

Who You Are

An engineer with over 2 years performing Frontend QA Analyst job for rich, interactive, consumer or enterprise web applications.

Skills

  • A track record of successful driving of UI/UX Quality in a team.
  • Deep understanding of user interface patterns and style systems. ("pattern libraries")
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers and UI developers.
  • Expertise in defining and implementing UI QA guidelines.
  • Have a keen eye of a Designer to identify Colors, Spacing, Text Style and Component Styling issues. Ability to closely follow the design specifications to perform the quality check.
  • Project management experience; experience with Agile development.

The ideal "YOU" experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

  • Established QA work history backed by delivery and execution.

Education

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent.
