What You'll Do
You will support the analysis and development of the financial information required to successfully support the Security Business Group. You will work with people at all levels of the organization (senior management, functional leadership and staff) to report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators, in order to influence business decisions that drive profitable growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Finance analyst for the Advanced Threat Security Sub-BE.
- You'll be responsible for a multiple product lines, analysing operating expenses, cogs, and bookings, as well as many other business metrics.
- You will present financial plans and results to BE leadership as well as finance leadership.
- You'll develop financial modeling, financial statement analysis, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and will perform ad hoc requests from Operations and Finance teams.

The BTOF organization partners with leaders in Engineering and Operational Functions to build strong shareholder value through strategic long-range planning, new business development, forecasting and budgeting. Exciting changes are happening within the Cisco Finance organization as we shift to become even more passionate about our business partners and drive major groundbreaking initiatives in the way we operate. This role provides an opportunity to work very close with the leaders responsible for these changes. It is an excellent opportunity to have firsthand knowledge of the priorities of the Finance organization.
Who You Are
You will have the ability to work multiple priorities in parallel; Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; Be able to work in ambiguous situations; Work well under pressure and within deadlines and focus on execution and results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Finance/Accounting degree and 2+ years of finance experience
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Desired Skills
- Experience with financial modelling
- Experience with Essbase, Hyperion, Business Objects
- BA in finance or accounting
