VM & TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST

Location : Panamá, Panamá City

Reports to : Trade & VM Design Manager

Contract : Full-time and permanent position

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL

As a VM & Trade Specialist you will support the team to enhance the brand’s retail presence through effective visual merchandising strategies, also being responsible for planning and executing captivating trade animations ensuring they align with the brand identity, marketing goals, and overall business objectives, always ensuring the use of ecological materials, recycling or repurposing to comply with CHANEL CSR commitment.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

- VISUAL MERCHANDISING STRATEGY:

·  Implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's image, target audience, and marketing objectives.
·  Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand product bestsellers and novelty campaigns, translating them into compelling visual displays adapted to each market.

- PRODUCT PRESENTATION AND DISPLAY:

·  Draw and set up attractive product displays that effectively showcase our merchandise and tell a cohesive brand story (planograms, SAB dress up, etc).
·  Ensure that visual displays adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and visually appealing in-store and window display presence.

- TRADE ANIMATION LAYOUT AND DESIGN:

·  Draw floor plans, elevations, details, and construction plans for animation projects of CUPFSA’s total region, following CHANEL guidelines and according to budget.
·  Prepare technical information related to materials, measurements, and other specifications to be send to clients & suppliers for production and installation.
·  Prepare renders and merchandising guidelines for presentation purposes (to Marketing & commercial department + Clients).
·  Follow up on execution, quality & construction with suppliers. Challenge quotation if needed.
·  Continuously evaluate and refresh store designs to maintain customer interest and boost foot traffic.

- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND STOCK ROTATION:

·  Control the inventory of the merchandising PLV to ensure the availability of products for display and promotions.
·  Regularly rotate merchandise and update displays to highlight new campaigns.
·  Local production of POS Assets, implementation and follow up.

- VISUAL MERCHANDISING COMPLIANCE:

·  Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with visual merchandising standards across locations.
·  Conduct remote virtual visits and installations to assess the status of all points of sale, safeguard the brand image and support the client.
·  Provide training and guidance to store staff on visual merchandising techniques and best practices.

- MARKET RESEARCH AND TREND ANALYSIS:

·  Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.

- BUDGET MANAGEMENT:

·  Manage the assigned budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of projects without compromising on quality.

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

·  Continuously evaluating and refreshing designs to maintain customer interest and boost foot traffic.

·  Be hands-on and involved in the execution of different projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

·  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Architecture, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or any related field. Master level appreciated.
·  Proficiency both in English and Spanish
·  Similar responsibilities in positions with a complex level of coordination duties and retail knowledge.
·  MUST have proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe Suite, Autocad and rendering programs (Vray, Lumion, or similar) other visual design tools are a plus.
·  Strong organizational skills to ensure that all projects are executed flawlessly, with an eye for quality and adherence to brand standards.
·  Proven experience and expertise in architecture, design and rendering for retail environments.
·  Proven Project Management Experience.
·  Must be someone organized, resourceful, problem-solving oriented, with good interpersonal communication, with negotiation skills and analytical.
