Service Lead, Insurance
We are looking for an experienced Service Lead to take end-to-end responsibility for service delivery for one of CGI’s most strategic clients in the Finnish insurance sector.
In this role, you will be the key operational counterpart for the client, ensuring stable and high-quality delivery of application management and production support services. You will work closely with client stakeholders and lead a global CGI delivery setup across Finland, India, and other locations.
This is a client-facing role with real ownership, suited for someone who enjoys combining leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management in a complex environment.
Your role
As Service Lead, you will own the day-to-day success of the service and play a central role in developing it further. You will:
• Take end-to-end responsibility for CGI’s operational service delivery for the client
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational services and ongoing collaboration
• Lead service delivery together with CGI’s Service Delivery Directors and Managers across business areas
• Coordinate with other vendors in the client ecosystem to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery
• Drive service performance, quality, and continuous improvement, including SLA management and reporting
• Serve as the main escalation point, handling critical situations with confidence and transparency
• Participate in governance forums and steering group meetings, representing CGI at an operational leadership level
Your future team
You will be joining a strategically important client engagement, where your contribution is visible and valued both by the client and within CGI. This role is primarily based at our client’s premises in Espoo and the main working language is English.
What we require from you
• You have a solid background in leading large-scale IT services and feel comfortable taking ownership in a complex client environment.
• Several years of experience leading IT service teams in application management and support
• Strong understanding of application development and application lifecycle management
• Experience working with SLAs, service governance, and multi-vendor environments
• Practical experience in agile ways of working
