Position Description:
As a SAP GTS – Functional Analyst, you will be part of BRP's Centre of Excellence (CoE), a team of business process and technical experts dedicated to supporting and continuously improving SAP solutions. This role focuses on enabling business growth through effective SAP GTS and Logistics module implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert knowledge in SAP GTS and SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, WM) to address business needs and propose solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business users to enhance SAP solution effectiveness.
- Support demand management and project prioritization in collaboration with the business and PMO.
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Application Management Services (AMS) and other partners for application maintenance and project delivery.
- Lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions.
- Ensure business requirements are accurately captured in specifications and guide resources during development and testing.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documents, analysis reports, and testing documentation.
- Conduct peer reviews of design standards and specifications.
- Stay informed on emerging SAP functionalities and contribute to their implementation.
- Manage the transition from project delivery to application support teams.
- Assist in resolving complex application support and maintenance issues.
- Provide input on product, tool, and method selection, staying abreast of industry trends.
- Support SAP Business Advisors/Partners and organizational change management efforts.
- Contribute to end-user training, change impact assessments, and job aid development.
- Recommend improvements for solution maintenance and operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Preferred knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
- Proven hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP GTS.
- Familiarity with S4 HANA processes is an asset.
- General knowledge of SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, WM).
- Experience with compliance management, customs management, and risk/trade preference management packages.
- Exposure to third-party SAP integrations is advantageous.
- Experience in international and large-scale projects.
- Strong training and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- Interest in international trade and commerce.
- Dynamic, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptability to evolving business environments.
- Preferred knowledge of UML, database queries, Agile methodology.
- Familiarity with ETL, interfaces, APIs, and microservices is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
