Position Description:

We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a "Java Developer" in our Banking Services Division.

Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 3 days office and rest remote)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Build and integrate microservices with RESTful APIs for high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate on front-end development using modern frameworks for seamless user experiences.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases for scalability and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps tools to streamline delivery.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong in Java and Spring Boot Development
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Strong experience in building and integrating microservices with RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Front-End Development with Modern Frameworks
• Cloud Deployment & Containerization
• Database Management (Relational & NoSQL)
• CI/CD and DevOps Tools

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
