Job Description:
As an Access Management Analyst, you will be a vital part of a global team delivering critical security services to one of our key clients. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of user access to a wide range of business applications and systems. Your primary role is to ensure that the right individuals have the right level of access at the right time, serving as a guardian of the client's security policies. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a passion for customer service, and the ability to execute technical procedures with precision in a fast-paced, global delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front-Line Service Delivery: Manage and process a high volume of access-related service requests and incidents using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring every ticket is resolved accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
User Lifecycle Management: Perform essential user account administration tasks, including creating, modifying, disabling, and deleting user accounts across diverse platforms like Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), SAP, and other business applications.
Permission Management: Grant and revoke user permissions and group memberships based on approved requests, carefully following documented procedures to ensure strict compliance with the client's security policies.
Act as SPOC for SAP role change management, ensuring proper documentation, reviews, and approvals.
Coordinate with functional teams and role owners for updates, enhancements, and remediation tasks.
Serve as administrator for SAP GRC Access Request Management (ARM) and Emergency Access Management (EAM) tools.
Partner with the SAP Access Control Office to ensure alignment with governance processes, workflows, and controls.
Global End-User Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for a global user base, providing clear, professional, and timely updates on the status of their access requests.
Audit & Compliance Support: Meticulously document all actions taken within the ticketing system to create a clear audit trail. Assist in gathering evidence for internal and external audit requests.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team members in India and collaborate with global stakeholders to manage the daily ticket queue and escalate complex requests to senior analysts.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience in an IT service delivery, technical support, or operations role, preferably in a global service delivery model.
Hands-on experience with an enterprise-level ITSM ticketing system (ServiceNow is highly preferred).
Strong, practical knowledge of user account administration in Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory.
An exceptional eye for detail and a personal commitment to accuracy and quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, essential for supporting global stakeholders effectively.
A strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to remain professional and patient.
The ability to learn new technologies and follow complex technical procedures diligently and consistently.
Flexibility to work in shifts to cover the client's European business hours.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Desired Skills)
ITIL Foundation certification or a strong practical understanding of ITIL principles.
Familiarity with fundamental Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Previous experience with user provisioning in an SAP environment.
Exposure to Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms.
Basic PowerShell scripting skills for automating simple tasks in Active Directory.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid grasp of IAM fundamentals: authentication vs authorization, RBAC, least privilege, joiner–mover–leaver (JML) processes.
Familiarity with access reviews, entitlement management, and segregation of duties (SoD).
Advanced operational exposure to Microsoft Active Directory (users, groups, OU structure, GPO basics).
Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (now Entra ID): user provisioning, group-based access, license assignments.
Working knowledge on SAP Access, Fenix Access Management Tasks
Understanding of application-specific access models and approval chains.
Awareness of how IGA integrates with AD, Azure AD, and business applications.
Ability to follow and safely execute automation runbooks.
