Your future duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance Service Manager of the Payroll Service Center, the selected candidate will act as a Billing Advisor.
- Ensure the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational dashboards
- Analyze financial results and explain revenue and expense variances; forecast accruals if necessary
- Collaborate with the Finance team of the business unit to confirm the validity of financial data
- Participate in the budgeting process within the Payroll Service Center
- Implement and optimize financial performance indicators
- Develop and improve financial models for forecasting revenue, profit, and expenses
- Maintain constant collaboration with management regarding budgets, expense tracking throughout the year, and provide analyses tailored to their needs
- Participate in various ad-hoc financial analyses and act as a finance business partner for managers of the Payroll Service Center
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Demonstrates rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, and good priority management
- Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in compiling results, data analysis, and variance explanations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer tools
- Ability to work in a team and develop expertise
- Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization
- Knowledge of payroll (an asset)
- Bilingualism (an asset).
