Application Support Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

As part of its activities with a client in the banking sector, CGI supports the maintenance and evolution of technology platforms used for regulatory reporting processes.
These platforms play a key role in the production of reports submitted to regulatory authorities and are primarily based on the AxiomSL solution along with internal data warehouse environments.
CGI is seeking an Application Support Analyst specialized in regulatory reporting to ensure the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of these critical systems. The consultant will work at the core of the regulatory reporting production processes and collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Data teams to ensure data reliability, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely report delivery
Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Provide L2/L3 application support for regulatory reporting platforms.
-Monitor and support the production cycles of regulatory reports to ensure smooth execution.
-Analyze and resolve incidents related to data flows, transformations, and calculation processes.
-Identify data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
-Participate in the end-to-end regulatory reporting production process, including data collection, transformation, aggregation, and validation.
Support regulatory reports such as FR 2052a and FR Y-15.
Ensure data quality and consistency for regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with business teams to analyze regulatory requirements and contribute to platform enhancements.
Participate in regulatory change initiatives and process improvement activities.
Configure and maintain components of the AxiomSL platform.
Develop and maintain data transformations and processing workflows using SQL.
Contribute to process optimization, automation, and the maintenance of technical documentation and operational procedures.
Participate in business continuity activities and support batch processing monitoring when required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-Significant experience supporting regulatory reporting platforms in a banking or financial services environment.
-Experience with the AxiomSL platform.
-Good understanding of regulatory reporting processes and collaboration with Finance or Risk teams.
-Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
-Data analysis and incident resolution capabilities.
-Knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows environments is considered an asset.
-Familiarity with liquidity metrics such as LCR or NSFR or with prudential reporting is an advantage.
-Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with both business and technical teams.
-Autonomy, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a production-critical environment.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
