Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Get a good introduction to practice-relevant topics with a wide range of activities relating to optics, mechanics, electronics and software. Work with us on production-relevant assemblies with a direct application.
· You will develop optical measuring stands for detector characterisation.
· Moreover, you will also test new measurement methods and develop them further.
· You will accompany smaller mechanical and electronic developments for these measuring stands.
· You will also automate the measuring stands and set up suitable mechanisms and the corresponding programming.
· Last but not least, you will be responsible for adapting and optimising the measuring stands for a production environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· enrolled student in a STEM subject from the 4th semester onwards
· ideally knowledge of Python and initial experience with optical measurement methods and the design of mechanical setups
· very good language skills in German and English
· ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and a structured way of working
