In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs. This portfolio is complemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 We offer you the opportunity to join the Procurement Center Europe as part of our global procurement unit, responsible for ensuring operational, technical, and commercial purchasing in close cooperation with the functions of Supply Chain, Global BASF Procurement as well as the corresponding Customer Service of the suppliers.

 

·  As a working student you oversee the integration of a global interface for the electronic exchange of business documents between BASF and a global supplier.
·  You will support the calculations of savings and bonuses for the suppliers.
·  In order to generate flawless evaluations, you carefully maintain the purchasing data in SAP and also support new projects as well as ad-hoc analyses and data preparation.
·  Reviewing supplier quality management certificates is also part of your responsibilities.  

QUALIFICATIONS

·  enrolled student with a business or commercial background
·  versed in the use of MS Office, especially with Excel and  PowerPoint as well as SAP experience desirable
·  team player with creativity and initiative as diligent work ethic
·  very good communication skills in German as well as in English
