INSIDE Automotive - our worldwide BASF rotation program for the BASF Automotive Industry Group - will prepare you for future tasks at BASF, offering you challenging tasks, exciting projects and responsibility right from the start. After various national and international assignments, you will assume a challenging position in the area of OEM quality management at BASF.
What you can expect

Within our 24-month INSIDE Automotive trainee program, with a focus on quality management (QM), you will get to know the automotive business of BASF as a whole and will actively participate in shaping it.

·  Through a rotation program in various business units and regions, you will gain across-the-board insight into BASF's QM strategies with regard to the automotive sector.
·  You will become familiar with various activities, tools and methods used in quality management in the automotive industry.
·  With the aid of this knowledge, you will work extensively with customer-specific OEM requirements and will be able to interpret them and identify solutions for the BASF Group on that basis.
·  The holistic view of BASF's automotive approach taken in this program will give you a detailed understanding of the needs of our customers and allow you to offer them the best solutions.
·  After completing the rotation program, you will start your career in OEM quality management at BASF.

What we expect

We are looking for graduates or engineers with an affinity for the automotive sector and initial professional experience who are also highly flexible and mobile. We also aim to seek out inspiration within and outside the company, thereby advancing BASF's potential for innovation.

We have the following minimum requirements:

·  Master's degree in chemical engineering, business and engineering or another engineering discipline with excellent grades and a focus on quality management
·  Ideally one internship, thesis project or initial professional experience in quality management at an industrial firm
·  Fluent English language skills (at least level C1) and at least basic German language skills (A1)
