The Coatings business drives excellence in the development, production, and marketing of coatings solutions.  This includes innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, applied surface treatments for metal, plastic, and glass substrates, and advanced solutions for sustainability, performance, and digitalization. 

We are looking for a professional like you to join our team!

As a member of the Refinish Coatings Supply Chain Leadership team, you will drive the management of the Demand and Supply Planning processes supporting our business in North America.

What you'll do...

·  Enabling the success of our S&OP process, demand planning, supply and production planning and inventory management and network distribution; utilizing SAP ERP, integrated planning systems, analytical tools (PowerBI) and supplemental informational/transactional systems.
·  Using your experience in supply and demand planning and strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as your ability to network in a global, cross-functional environment to implement the G-ECR future planning system landscape and advanced planning tools through collaboration with the global supply chain teams as well as the extended teams withing the region.
·  Driving the optimization of supply and demand planning processes for domestic production, tolling management and imports and merchandize planning.
·  Leading a successful team of Supply Chain Planners, providing guidance and coaching and enabling development of competences to implement BASF’s strategy.

 

If you...

 

·  Holding a bachelor’s degree 5+ years of relevant experience in demand and/or supply planning, business management, procurement or operations.
·  Having 3+ years of people management experience.  You will manage 4 Planners.
·  Using your advanced knowledge of data query development, excellent problem solving, analytical and math skills, you will find ways to optimize service levels and inventories in the region.
·  Having strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple, concurrent tasks effectively to establish and drive plans to completion.
·  SAP experience preferred.
·  Manufacturing industry preferred.
