Strategic Human Resource Business Advisor, Catalyst: Global Technology (CCT) Chemical Catalysts (CCP/N) and Global Refining Catalysts (CCR) & Lead SHRMA NA - Iselin, NJ (1902447)

This role holds the responsibility and accountability to plan, organize, develop and manage the strategic development and implementation of the Human Resources processes required for the following businesses:

·  Global Technology organization (CCT) including the Global Operations Leader Forum (GOLF)
·  Regional Process and Chemical Catalysts business (G-CCP) and Global Refining Catalysts (CCR)
·  Lead SHRMA for 9 CC NA sites across multiple business units The SHRBA has overall responsibility and accountability to provide strategic business support through the development, implementation and management of progressive HR programs and processes. This position serves as a member of the global senior leadership teams it supports. This position partners with appropriate business unit executives to develop strategic options and provides leadership to manage commensurate human resource strategies in support to the business plans.

This position also manages one additional SHRMA to support the NA sites.

Organization Management: Leveraging your strengths in translating business strategies into human capital initiatives and organizational redesign, you will advise on organizational development and partner on the execution of organizational development & change solutions (assessment, design, delivery, or execution). Your diagnosis of business initiatives will determine the appropriate approach, organization capabilities and change solutions required to meet short- and long-term business strategy goals and support for decision making. While you lead and manage cross discipline/business project teams/task forces in response to business needs and global/regional initiatives, you will ensure effective and efficient execution through disciplined project management in alignment with business needs. You will maintain a feedback loop with the OD COE, developing Change Leadership engagement sessions and materials based on the Change Framework.

Talent Management: Through your strategic workforce planning and your recommendations of new strategies, you will define selection criteria for key positions and build successful, diverse and inclusive teams. Your development of a regional talent strategy for the unit, will impact the retention of critical talent in the unit. Your coordination and integration of the sites Talent Management process will produce insightful and detailed analysis of potential talent gaps and the development of career plans. The coordination and management of your performance management process will provide clear communication to the organization, compliance, consistency and objectivity; your leadership will ensure performance review evaluations are administered fairly and effectively. You will coordinate and manage New Leader Assimilations and Employee’s day 1 orientation support for Talent Events and other in demand activities as directed by the Leadership Excellence and Development CoE, e.g. Talent Summits, Talent Forums, Regional Development Centers, Get-to-know sessions of L2 with regional talents.

General HR support: You will impart and deliver day-to-day HR support to N-CMN leaders and employees at your site location and coordinate the day-to-day HR support at other N-CMN sites. You will partner with the N-CMN HR generalist and site HR outside of your site location to ensure execution of N-CMN human capital strategy and provision of day-to-day HR services. Your HR support includes all members of the N-CMN leadership team.

Leadership Management & HR Consulting Projects: You’ll coach unit leader(s) and their leadership team members, connecting business strategy to people strategy. Your leadership will develop, motivate, coach and challenge leaders for higher performance. Planning, managing and delivering unit-or site-specific consulting projects, in a highly self-directed environment, may cover one or more of the following:

·  Reorganization/Restructure/Organization Redesign
·  OD Interventions/Change Management/Engagement
·  Analytics unit/site specific
·  Other tailored HR programs specific to business need Talent Acquisition: You will lead regional strategic projects and provide sustainable Talent Acquisition solutions. Your development and execution of a staffing strategy for assigned businesses will produce creative sourcing methods to identify high-potential, diverse talent. You will enable optimization of hiring decisions in the context of the broader talent strategy. Leveraging organizational strategy and labor market knowledge will identify top talent and your management and influencing will manage business leader expectations on talent availability (by leveraging market analytics) and enable them to make tradeoffs between quality and speed. Your anticipation of the changing needs of hiring managers and their businesses he/she will adjust the strategy accordingly. Challenging and educating hiring managers on talent assessments, business/talent risks of hiring certain candidates, and their talent assumptions will aid in the hiring of top talent. Your proactive identification and developed solutions to talent pipeline challenges will include your partnership with talent attraction, candidate care, and diversity strategy resources as needed. You will build and implement creative sourcing partnerships with external solution providers. You will execute talent sourcing for your home base site and coordinate sourcing with HR at all sites across N-CMN. You are accountable for the management of performance targets e.g. conversion ratio, recruiting effectiveness, hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
