JOIN THE TEAM
Our Service Unit Global Intellectual Property is one of the biggest inhouse IP units in Germany. We are responsible for all services relating to patents, trademarks, trade secrets, plant variety protection, copyrights, designs and IP Intelligence, as well as all IP-contracts. We are a global team servicing the entire BASF group and work in close alliance with the operating business units as well as with the research and technology platforms. In this way we create a basis for future business success and actively influence BASF's competitive situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an IPMS specialist in our team, you are responsible for all matters related to trademarks and designs in our IPMS system Anaqua. As part of the development of GBI, you support the evaluation, automation, and digitization of our processes and IPMS. You assist in creating brand-related data products for reporting and expand your knowledge in data management.
· Your tasks include creating conflicts in the IPMS system as well as independently advising and clarifying any questions with the respective internal and external contacts.
· Also, you commission and conduct research to gather relevant information on trademarks and designs.
· Your support is needed for acquisitions and divestments related to trademarks and designs.
· In addition, you configure the brand module in Anaqua to ensure that all relevant functions for brand management can be optimally utilized.
· It is your responsibility to ensure data quality in the IPMS system.
· You support the team in reporting by providing relevant data and information.
QUALIFICATIONS
·
completed commercial apprenticeship or alternatively completed patent paralegal training
·
profound knowledge in commercial intellectual property law
·
knowledge in automation tools like MS Forms and PowerAutomate as well as knowledge in project management desirable
·
fluent communication in English
·
profound knowledge in communication as well as knowledge in MS standard products
·
strong team skills
