As the Refinish Talent Partner for North America, you will play a critical role in identifying and hiring strong talent while coaching hiring managers and leaders to utilize the latest best practices in talent attraction and retention.  You will utilize proven strategies, tools and techniques to identify talent that aligns with Refinish’s values, goals, strategy and culture.  You will coach Business Leaders to become more effective and proactive “talent scouts” creating an environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

As a Sr. Talent Partner, Refinish, NA , You Create Chemistry By...

·  Employing creative sourcing strategies to identify diverse candidates and continually build a funnel of potential hires. Also, leveraging organizational and labor market strategies to find top talent and educate hiring manager on relevant labor market trends, effective hiring, and talent assessment practices.
·  Building relationships with sourcing organizations appropriate for the Automotive Aftermarket and related industries to promote stronger talent pipelines capable of feeding talent to BASF.  This could include universities, trade vocational schools, industry associations, iCAR, or others.
·  Participating in evaluation of job candidates as needed including resume review, interviewing, and evaluation of Business Development Manager (BDM), Regional Business Manager (RBM), and Tech Service Representative (TSR) roles. Also you´ll be require to develop new interviewing frameworks and skills assessments 
·  Developing strong partnership and collaboration with the Commercial Excellence team and other internal functions to drive continuous improvement of leadership, coaching, talent development, etc.  You will also focus on developing leaders’ capacity to identify, attract, and select diverse talent by facilitating training sessions and/or sharing information and resources.
·  Proactively identifying and developing solutions to talent pipeline challenges and partnering with talent attraction, candidate care, and diversity strategy resources as needed to address identified challenges. You will lead regional and/or global strategic projects to provide sustainable talent solutions by anticipating changing needs of hiring managers and adjusting hiring strategy accordingly.

If you have...

 

·  Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of HR and professional recruiting experience (in-house and agency preferably) or Master’s degree with 7 years of HR and professional recruiting experience.
·  Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Also, demonstrated experience utilizing enterprise-wide HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems such as SAP, Taleo, HireX, Success Factors 
·  Comprehensive behavioral-based interview and candidate assessment skills.
·  Knowledge of current effective networking and sourcing trends including extensive use of LinkedIn and other social media channels. It will be highly valued to have experience developing and executing recruitment strategies in varied regional markets, preferably in a high volume, fast-paced environment, with ownership over the candidate and hiring manager experience.
·  Current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and practices.
