We are the global In-house Consulting unit at BASF. In our Operational Excellence Consulting teams, we use our profound knowledge of chemical operations to support internal clients in their organizational development, efficiency and growth projects. RESPONSIBILITIES

In our Plant and Site Development unit, you will work on the continuous improvement of processes and structures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in production and production-related service units, thus making an important contribution to improving the relevant key figures.

 

•    You design and manage large-scale projects with the aim of optimally aligning and improving the various processes and structures of BASF's operations at different sites.
•    In these projects you analyze the specific operational and work processes, including the operational setup as well as the relevant processes and interfaces to services, such as maintenance, analytics, and operational logistics.
•    You use your broad experience to develop creative optimized concepts together with the team.
•    To this end, you work together with employees at different levels at our clients’ production sites.
•    As part of your job, you have the opportunity to support and manage challenging international projects and thus gain a comprehensive insight into various BASF business areas.
•    Within the project team, you can plan your business trips and align them with your work-life balance.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Successfully completed studies (diploma, master's, doctorate) in chemistry, physics, process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable course of study
•    In a responsible role as operations or production manager, you have already had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into operational processes and structures Professional experience in the implementation of process improvements in an industrial environment or in consulting.
•    business fluent communication in German and English 
•    Responsible thinking and acting
