Job description

BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the digital technologies and applying the high safety standards.

What you can expect
- Implement Emergency Response Centre (ERC) concept and deliver effective communication, support emergency coordination as well as on-duty management.
- Ensure normal operation of emergency command platform, automatic fire alarm system, security monitoring system, environmental protection monitoring system, and monitor relevant signals.
- Establish an effective and efficient emergency communication channel with government departments.
- Coordinate and support fire brigade to carry out daily fire prevention, drill and emergency rescue operations.
- Support fire safety operations and coordinate for external and internal safety review.

What we expect
- Experience in technical call centre, technical service hotline provider, site control rooms or hospital receptionist.
- Independent, with strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Accept Shift work.
