Where the chemistry happens…
As a senior member of our Palmyra MO site's controls group, you will be expected to program and configure the site’s control systems, which include DeltaV DCS, Triconex SIS SPLC, and various Allen-Bradley PLCs. Additionally, you will lead life-cycle strategy/planning efforts, automation training efforts, digitalization, and modernization efforts, as well as functioning as one of the Officers of Automation Security for the site. You will work with Operations to execute programming modifications to de-bottleneck equipment and improve plant performance and reliability and ensure execution of the operating plan daily. As well as supporting annual functional certification of site automated interlock checkouts, projects involving automation, utilizing your technical background and troubleshooting techniques to improve processes and product quality

Designing, analyzing, troubleshooting, documenting, and maintaining the site control systems, including hardware and software
·
Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise for Operations and Maintenance
·
Making yourself available to be on-call and respond to any after hour event impacting production or safety
·
Identifying Lean opportunities and support implementation
·
Working with operations and maintenance to maintain safe operation and reliability of the plant
·
Demonstrating your strong understanding of Process Control and Process Safety Concepts and their applications daily
If you...
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical, or related disciplines)
·
Significant relevant hands-on experience as a control engineer or a related discipline
·
Experience with process control and one or more of the following: DCS or SIS engineering and programming, life-cycle management, automation networks and cybersecurity
·
Experience in plant operations in a chemical or related manufacturing environment
·
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
·
Emerson DeltaV and Schneider Triconex experience or familiarity preferred
·
Allen-Bradley PLC experience a plus
