RESPONSIBILITIES

Be part of a team that shapes crop protection in a way that it will look like tomorrow and provide agronomic insights to foster a disruptive crop protection business model.

·  You are passionate and capable to steer agronomic aspects of a leading global scouting tool with the xarvio Digital Farming (xDF) Scouting App team as well as scale existing and drive new agronomic use cases with high customer orientation.
·  You will participate in key component development activities from ideation to a final product focusing on market impact as well as serving customer needs.
·  Together with regional as well as global team members you will orchestrate activities be integrating ideas from a broad range of stakeholder concepts and reach out to partners around the world to act fast.
·  You will identify priorities and quick wins for solution development within chosen key crops and geographies along our portfolio strategy and deliver in a short development cycles as well as in a cross-functional project-driven organizational set-up.
·  Moreover you adapt development steps and milestones in close alignment with the overall Digital Farming offering and you are responsible for the frequent exchange and alignment with related development activities within Digital Farming globally.
·  Finally, you will benchmark scouting concepts globally from an agronomical perspective as well as coordinate DF partnering activities in conjunction with local/regional xDF representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  University degree (PhD or Master) in agronomy, agricultural science, plant production or an equivalent field
·  Ability to understand farmer needs as well as listen to customers with high intensity to create new products that add value to daily farming practices
·  Proven understanding of key agronomic decision-making in cropping systems
·  Team player with strong experimentation and first leadership skills
·  Willingness to travel internationally
·  Fluent in English, both written as well as spoken and preferably additional language skills
