We are seeking a professional like you to work out of our Research Triangle Park, NC Agricultural Solutions NA headquarters and be responsible for providing toxicology support in the development and maintenance of our product portfolio.

This team is part of a multinational toxicology community at BASF. Global interactions and alignment are a regular part of the planning and technical exchange.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

 
Leveraging your education and experience in Toxicology, you will provide comprehensive toxicology support for development projects and active ingredient/ product defense. Utilizing your proven management skills leading complex projects, you will lead the generation and interpretation of scientific information to develop accurate high-quality toxicology data packages to support business objectives. Keeping abreast of current and emerging developments in toxicology and risk assessment, you will propose and implement regulatory strategies to solve elaborate technical issues. Making use of your interpersonal skills, you will build and maintain relationships as you work in cross-functional teams to complete complex tasks within critical timelines. Active communication will be essential in informing and advising business teams on regulatory issues that may impact project goals. Working collaboratively within a global organization, emphasis will be on support for North American registrations under FIFRA; however, you will also function as worldwide steward for products of importance in North America. Successfully engaging outside of the organization, you will prepare and present responses from regulatory inquiries, regularly interacting with representatives from key regulatory authorities. Applying your technical knowledge, you will represent BASF on industry and multi-stakeholder committees and associations to address key issues in regulatory toxicology.
