Job description

Project execution phase
1. Be responsible for implementation of BASF and EN quality requirements; to be a quality role model in Citral plant.
2. Be responsible for preparation and lead for ISO9001 certification for Citral plant including ongoing implementation of new requirements and audits.
3. Be responsible for coordination, consulting, implementation, and maintenance of the relevant Quality systems (ISO 9001, kosher, halal) in production for the relevant marketed products.
4. Independent supervision and participation on certain topics within the framework of Quality Assurance, including but not limited to raw material and supplier management, technology, training, change control, processing of deviations, preventive and corrective actions.
5. Independent creation of specification documents for quality assurance issues in production
6. Be responsible for management of quality related documentations; Constant observation of the relevant sets of rules and adaptation of the existing rules for implementation.
7. Independent planning and implementation of training courses on Quality Assurance topics; be responsible for onboarding new employees in Citral plant by delivering proper quality assurance trainings.
8. Independent preparation of reports/statistics on the topics (e.g., for management review, monthly reports)
9. Be responsible for the organization of internal audits, supplier audits, religious authorities, coordination of customer audits on quality topics to comply with the relevant quality certification.
10. Collaboration in teams for the processing of quality assurance projects
11. To be the focal contact in Citral Complex for central laboratory
12. To be the focal contact in Citral Complex for local crisis and recall.
13. To be the focal contact in Citral Complex for NC(Nonconformance) management from Quality perspective, including but limited to initiation of QC checks of retain samples, exchange with LU on customer feedback.
14. Support for SOPs for production, especially with quality aspects
15. Support raw material management from the quality perspective (e.g., new supplier/raw material qualification)
16. Support for kosher and halal audits at the tank cleaning farm (80% of the capacity is for Aroma) and at the NIS drum filling for Citral.
17. Integrate self into EN and BASF quality management community

Plant operation phase
18. Be responsible for quality support for operation troubleshooting in cases of deviations.
19. To initiate quality relevant process changes and to review MOCs from quality assurance perspective.
20. Support for SOPs for production, especially with quality aspects
21. Support raw material management from the quality perspective (e.g., new supplier/raw material qualification)
22. Support for kosher and halal audits at the tank cleaning farm (80% of the capacity is for Aroma) and at the NIS drum filling for Citral.
23. Support process trouble shootings and root cause analysis to guarantee long term stable operation of the plant
24. Be responsible for energy audit topics
25. To Assist line manager to organize cross-region operation experience exchange for quality related topics, including lesson learned, best practice and R&D project sharing

Required competencies:
1. >3 years quality assurance experience in chemical working areas with minimum a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
2. Familiar with ISO quality system is preferred
3. Good communication skills
4. Good MSOffice skills for document preparation
5. Good command of English and mandarin is mandatory
