We are seeking a professional like you to support ongoing operations at our Elyria, OH facility.

You will have the opportunity to work participating in customer relations, being able to drive cultural changes and working with new product scale-up and material substitution trials, becoming and expert in your products, processes and equipement though thoubleshooting and providing solutions.
As a Production Engineer, You Create Chemistry By...
· Providing technical leadership for production campaigns to manufacture products within expected standards of quality, cost, efficiency, compliance, safety, and responsible care. This includes run preparations, monitoring of production and closeout of the production run along with any changes to instructions or material usages.
· Troubleshooting and providing solutions to resolve issues in processes, equipment, and product quality. You will become an expert in your products, processes, and equipment.
· Being capable of working with limited direction, you will optimize processes and/or seek alternate technologies to reduce ergonomic and process safety risks, quality and equipment failures, costs, and waste.
· Working with Process Engineers involved in plant trials including new product scale-up, plant-to-plant technology/product transfers, and raw material substitution trials as well as displaying initiative and a strong drive to achieve results, you will manage process changes in your areas of responsibility using the BASF Management of Change process.
· Participating in customer relations (as needed), including compiling, and presenting information. These skills will be critical to building relationships and working with contact supervisors to provide direction and guidance to the plant floor.

· Bachelor Degree in Engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred)
· Professional experience in an industrial discipline (process design, process support, and/or production)
· Strong technical/problem solving aptitude and skills in interpreting and presenting data
