RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Chemistry at BASF Agricultural Solutions characterises the chemical, physical and safety properties of active ingredients and products. The data is then used for the registration of crop protection products worldwide. 
The Product Chemistry Manager is at the interface of R&D, registration, supply chain and operations.

·  In your new role, you manage global scientific projects by planning, budgeting, initiating studies and preparing registration dossiers in collaboration with internal colleagues and external partners. 
·  You work in international multidisciplinary project teams to fulfil global and regional business needs.
·  As Product Chemistry Manager you are involved in internal and external committees as well as liaising with authorities and associations. 
·  You define strategies based on global scientific, political and regulatory developments and drive necessary changes within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  PhD in chemistry or a related natural science ideally with several years of professional experience
·  team player mentality, interest in using new digital solutions and willingness for continuous development
·  fluent in English
·  goal-oriented and results-driven work approach
