Along the order-to-cash process, we in the “Customer” area are passionate about keeping the master data along the supply chain up to date, weighing up potential credit risks and thus executing payment flows on time. We are close to our customers and contribute to BASF’s success every day with the needs-oriented and innovative solutions.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support us in the team as soon as possible in the accounts receivable department and work with us to ensure high-quality customer accounting.

·  You are responsible for posting income payments, making debtor-related payments, clarifying payment differences with our customers and initiating any necessary collection measures. 
·  You also have regular contact with customers, sales, credit management and colleagues from other finance departments. 
·  You are involved in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for BASF Group companies. 
·  You use your expertise and ideas to optimize our processes and cooperation. 

QUALIFICATIONS

·  completed commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification 
·  ideally initial professional experience in accounts receivable accounting 
·  initial knowledge of SAP R/3 FI and MS Office 
·  fluent in English and ideally German 
·  enjoy working in intercultural teams
