   Objectives:
·  Develop, lead and manage activities for personal care regional formulation solution based on business needs for regional and local technical customer support and application technology, and build up expertise in the area of personal care formulations in the Innovation Campus Shanghai.
·  Lead the personal care Lab at the Innovation Campus AP, being responsible for the lab EHS, budget planning and investment for reginal team.  Main Tasks:
·  Build-up and lead the appropriate application technology and formulation development capabilities for personal care application, as well as product and application know-how at the Innovation Campus Asia Pacific as center of expertise for personal care solutions in the region.
·  Support the new product launch in Asia-Pacific in close alignment with regional industry marketing team by providing application technology data and concepts.
·  Develop and lead regional and local customer projects (CRM) on personal care concepts in a joint approach with marketing and sales teams, in order to support business development in alignment with R&D and regional marketing strategies
·  Drive the expansion of testing capabilities and methods, as well as application know-how in the area of personal care application technology, and strengthen the EMB application technology lab at the Innovation Campus Asia Pacific as a center of expertise for personal care solutions in the region, in line with Asian customer needs and business requirements
·  Lead the Shanghai regional Lab for personal care specialties to achieve timely and high-quality response to technical service/ application technology tasks and scientific sound experimental work for R&D product development projects while using resources efficiently, through lab organization and prioritization of requests.
·  Ensure employee development & coaching of technicians, execute highest safety standards & awareness, drive result-oriented working, and ensure professional documentation and reporting.
·  Support internal colleagues with technical expertise. Develop and provide technical training measures, presentations and supporting materials. Requirements:
·  Education: MS or PhD in Chemistry/ Industrial & Applied Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ related ones
·  Working Experience: 10 years and above in relevant R&D or application area
·  Technical & Professional Knowledge: Solid background in relevant chemistry, products and application technology; expertise and experience in project management, lab management, understanding of consumer, market and customer needs; English: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking
