RESPONSIBILITIES
In our efforts to refine toxicological experimentation, we are working on developing tools and methods to use data from already performed studies to enhance design and interpretation of future studies. During this 6 month master project:
· You will collect and prepare historical data for a range of toxicological studies.
· You will perform statistical analysis of the relevant historical data and build models for deriving correlations among various measured end-points in the data.
· Further you will evaluate the impact of these correlations on the interpretation of study data.
QUALIFICATIONS
· bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related areas
· basic training in statistics
· scripting/programming capabilities in R or Python
· understanding of biological experimentation, particularly animal studies is a plus
· strong communication skills in English to explain scientific results to an interdisciplinary team
