Where the chemistry happens…

 

The Energy and Environmental Operations (EEO) team at the McIntosh Alabama site is looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager to help ensure our current operations and growth are designed and implemented safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will be broadly responsible for optimization and project implementation for the utilities and wastewater treatment plant. The site is located just north of Mobile, AL and near all the amenities of the gulf coast. The McIntosh site is strategically significant for the Plastics and Coatings Businesses in North America. The site employs approximately 600 people including contractors to produce antioxidants and light stabilizers going into markets such as automotive, coatings, plastics, and food packaging.

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you create chemistry by...

 

·  Providing the necessary review and oversight of the implementation of capital and maintenance projects, so that new installations perform as designed.
·  Implementing energy savings initiatives across the site.
·  Managing and participating in process hazards analyses for the EEO area to ensure operational safety.
·  Being responsible for the EEO automation strategies, so that operators can make safe and efficient decisions.
·  Driving changes in processes and equipment using the Management of Change process to improve capacities and efficiencies.
·  Using statistical analysis to help the team make sound, data-based decisions.

If you...

 

·  B.S. Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required.
·  Experience in biological treatment facilities a strong plus.
·  Experience in steam generation and plant utility services.
·  6 Sigma certification or equivalent a plus.
