Manufacturing Engineer (1900063) – Brighton, CO

Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to assist the Production Team technically and physically to satisfy Brighton Site production requirements. This will require participation in the coordination of production, maintenance, technology improvements, capital investment, health and safety, ecology, quality assurance, logistics and working closely with shift team members in a 'High Performance Team' environment.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success

·  Leveraging your education in Engineering (Chemical or Industrial preferred) and your plant engineering experience in the refining, petrochemical, or chemical industry, you will act as the manufacturing representative for capital projects at the Brighton facility including, development of objectives/scope, participation in safety review process, management of change activities, PSSR reviews, and procedure development to ensure successful capital implementation.
·  Using your experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, you will participate in root cause analysis reviews for EHS Incidents and ensure proper follow up of action items to increase site safety.
·  Your commitment to workplace safety will be evident as you lead initiatives to improve housekeeping practices at the Brighton facility and create a program to maintain these initiatives. Additionally, you will promote site safety initiatives through participation in PHAs, HAZOPs, and audit activities.
·  Your experience in Lean/Six sigma manufacturing techniques, Operations, and process optimization will be a valued asset as you investigate process optimization and develop Lean/Six Sigma projects through data analysis and operational observations.
·  Utilizing your effective communication skills and robust technical knowledge, you will provide engineering and technical support to the production and maintenance teams by resolving problems, addressing functional issues, and providing guidance to end-users.
·  Demonstrating your knowledge in change orientation/management, you will provide site support for the management of change process, ensuring changes are captured and proper safety documentation is provided. Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You
