Where the chemistry happens…
As our Logistics Coordinator you will support our Palmyra site in our manufacturing processes in the Agricultural field. You will work closely with Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to ensure that raw materials are ordered and received and finished goods shipped in a timely manner. You will maintain appropriate stocking levels of raw material and packaging to ensure production requirements are met.
As a Logistics Coordinator, You Create Chemistry By...
• Supporting entire site with ordering raw materials and supplies to support and meet the production plan while controlling and minimizing inventory. Monitoring daily quality, quantity, stock levels and delivery time to meet the plan when / as it changes. Communicating with Production Managers, Production Engineers, or Supervisors as required to ensure all production demands are being met
• Maintaining all Logistics logs: rail yard, on-site trailer check, shuttle, demurrage to support the accuracy and availability of on-site mobile inventory. Maintaining knowledge on regulatory compliance; RCRA, FIFRA, DOT, IATA, IMDDG, and other Domestic and International regulations. Maintaining supply of DOT labels/placards to support site requirements
• Developing, updating, and maintaining documents such as log sheets, operating procedures, checklists, and schedules. Maintaining files, records, and reports in the key areas of Production; Safety and Environmental, Accounting, Quality, and Personnel and Training
• Conducting inventory counts monthly and track raw materials and supplies. Reconciling month end inventory and other accounting issues
• Using SAP to post Goods Receipt and Goods Issue to maintain accurate inventory
• Submitting orders, verifying cost reports and providing variance explanations for raw material goods delivery. Verifying invoices for direct billing and clear WorkCycles
• Working with Procurement on any vendor issues
If you...
· Have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: logistics, material planning or production planning
· 4+ years of experience listed with a High school diploma or equivalent/GED, is preferred
· 2+ years of experience listed with a Bachelor's degree, is preferred
· Have experience coordinating and managing multiple, competing priorities
· Are self-motivated with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly
· Have proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to quickly learn software
· Have the ability to learn SAP (required); SAP proficiency is highly preferred and experience with other POS systems is a plus
· Have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and high attention to detail
