RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Engineering & Maintenance IT unit manages and supports the use of engineering software in the BASF Group.
· You will support, maintain and enhance CAE applications in plant engineering, initially with a focus on 3D design systems.
· In addition, you will actively participate in the further development of the applications and contribute your ideas how to improve the system environment.
· You think beyond system boundaries and support, as part of our team, to integrate the CAE application landscape deeper.
· Furthermore, you are part of a global expert community from North/South America, Asia and Europe.
· Last but not least, you will develop small customizations and enhancements in domain specific languages and .NET.
QUALIFICATIONS
· successfully completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in engineering technology or computer science
· very good practical IT knowledge in an industrial environment
· independent familiarization with new IT systems
· experience in support of CAE applications is an advantage
· ability to work in a team to achieve common goals
