Objectives of the Position

 

·  We are looking for a IT Delivery Lead to implement, support, and lead enterprise-grade IT solutions for BASF Agricultural.  The role involves both technical and leadership skills to drive efficient product delivery.
·  High-level objectives are as follows:
·  Ensure successful “product” delivery.
·  Lead and motivate teams/squads.
·  Manage stakeholders effectively.
·  Identify and mitigate risks.
·  Improve IT delivery processes.
·  Stay updated with IT technology.
·  Facilitate clear communication.
·  Ensure quality and security standards.
·  Align products with the AP organizations strategy

 

Main Tasks

 

·  Must exhibit expert knowledge of agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
·  Professional Scrum Master and advanced certification and at least 5 years of agile experience
·  Prefer proficient in the use of Agile delivery tools such as TFS, Jira and Azure DevOps
·  Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills at the team and management levels
·  Ability to teach and train on Agile, Scrum, Kanban at a level accessible to beginners with the ability to deep dive for advanced topics.
·  A change agent: progressively challenging the team and organization to continuously improve.
·  Excellent understanding of product and sprint backlog tracking, burn down metrics, and velocity.
·  Strong negotiation, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills.
·  Strong knowledge, skills, and ability working in a collaborative team environment.
·  High maturity of diplomacy and ability to see and rationalize multiple points of view.
·  Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a diverse leadership team.
·  Servant leader who Supports the development team, the product owner, and the organization

 

Requirements

 

Education

·  Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or business-technology related discipline.

 

Working Experience

·  3-5 years leading Agile teams as a Scrum Master required.
·  5 years working on an agile team required.
