Job description

BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the digital technologies and applying the high safety standards.

What you can expect

• To ensure high quality & effectiveness of IT training.
• Plan and conduct communication way to understand IT requirements from internal customers.
• Operate local specific solutions, services and specialties installed in the site.
• Perform the required local tasks for implementations (and rollouts) of change requests and projects in the site.
• Perform resolution activities for all service, incident and problem escalations arising in the site. Works closely with the respective teams to bring about timely communication, restoration and closure. Trigger further escalations where required.
• Support infrastructure service and solution content expert(s) for the purpose of enhancing user support and for the designing of effective.

What we expect
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other related technical degree.
• Minimum 3~5 years of information technology experience required.
• Good communication skill in spoken and written English.
• Excellence experience in workplace support, IT infrastructure maintenance. MCSE is preferable.
• Optional: ability to problem-solve and find solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients.
