Internship digitalization in Research and Development (m/f/d)

Job description

In our Dispersions & Pigments division we offer a broad portfolio of pigments, resins, additives and polymer dispersions. These raw materials are used in formulations in the coatings, construction, adhesives, printing and packaging, electronics and paper industries, among others. We develop innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers and help them advance their formulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our expert team digitalization creates efficiency and progress through automation of manually laboratory processes and data integration along the whole Research and Development supply chain.

·  You are driving digitalization in R&D for respective units and support functions.
·  Furthermore, you analyze R&D concepts and identify optimization potential using various softwares.
·  Moreover, you program applications based on user requirements, which can be implemented in R&D processes.
·  You implement necessary hardware in our laboratories.
·  In addition, you support our digitalization team in terms of Master Data collection as well as maintenance in new systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Study of Computer Science or Engineering
·  Knowledge in software development and programming
·  Experience in process modelling and analysis as well as in the use of modeling tools
·  Knowhow in dealing with IT-hardware and database conception
·  Very good language skills in German and English
