As an EPC Advanced Trainee for our Performance Materials business unit, you will create a meaningful career while supporting a division that is active in four major industry sectors – transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. The division has a strong portfolio of products and services combined with a deep understanding of application-oriented system solutions.

 

The Wyandotte Engineering Plastics Compounding plant in particular operates twin screw extruders to provide engineering plastics compounds, primarily to TIER 2 suppliers in the automobile industry.

During your straight day or night 12-hour shift as a EPC Technician III you will…

· 
Develop into a working Area Leader, reporting to the Shift Supervisor. 

· 
Develop advanced competency in the Plant as a whole. Set-up, maintain, and operate compounding equipment. 

· 
Direct and mentor others in meeting established targets in multiple areas.    

· 
Develop advanced knowledge in supporting equipment such as plant alarm systems, Venturis, AIM’s, SAP, Safe Work / Hot Work, etc.   

If you have...

· 
Have a HS Diploma or GED  

· 
 5 years of manufacturing or other industrial experience. 

· 
Are willing and able to work 12hr shifts (nights/weekends/holidays)  

· 
Can lift up to 50 lbs., carrying up to 25 lbs.  

· 
Are familiar with Mechanical Rotating Equipment systems and/or   

· 
Compounding equipment experience preferred.
