RESPONSIBILITIES

Our E&I Engineering unit works on modern, appropriate electrical energy supply and automation technology for our production facilities and investment projects. This also includes technical building equipment.

·  In this role, you will plan electrical and automation systems for building technology in production, lab and office buildings as part of investment projects as well as of plant changes.
·  You will advise project teams and operators on all issues in the area of electrical building equipment and will develop cost-effective planning solutions.In addition, you will bear responsibility for cost estimates and scheduling.
·  You will prepare the specifications for procurement of equipment items.
·  In addition, you will participate in contract award negotiations as well as in formal acceptance procedures.
·  Last but not least, you will manage suppliers and external engineering firms within the scope of the project and will review the supplied documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  degree in engineering or comparable qualifications as well as relevant professional experience in the field of electrical and automation-related building equipment and in the associated areas
·  solid knowledge of legal rules and regulations, ideally in industrial and lab construction
·  experience with planning, RFP procedures, supervision and project management
·  authentic communication skills in German and English as well active participation in your team
·  ability to develop creative solutions and to identify the need of customers as well as partners
