Job description

Objectives:
- Be responsible for continuous improvement of RC Performance within BCTS, organize the EHS training and hazard identification in BCTS, with the exception of ECR.
- According to environmental protection, health and safety standards, be compliant to all the site safety regulation, process and working guidance to protect employees and personal safety.

Main Tasks:
- Establish and update the related EHS procedures, supervise the implementation.
- Consolidate the training needs; identify EHS training/education programs, schedules and target groups to strengthen the employees' EHS awareness; conduct internal and external training/workshop/introduction programs according to plan and requirement.
- Support on environmental protection (waste water/gas/solid) to ensure all activities being legal compliant in BCTS, and fulfilling the different level requirements (global, divisional, Greater China and Pudong site) on environmental protection. Plan and conduct EP (environmental protection) regular reporting such as annual report to authority, pollutant discharge permit report, BASF RC annual report, etc.
- Be responsible for EHS inspection system, set up EHS inspection plan, support all area owners on hazard identification, risk assessment with defined preventive measures, track all actions to be closed on time, provide statistics for BCTS.
- Be responsible for occupational health, declare an occupational disease hazard program to authority on an annual basis, ensure all activities being legal compliant in BCTS, and fulfilling the different level requirements (global, divisional, Greater China and Pudong site) on occupational health.
- Maintain a documentation system to keep company (BCTS) and corporate mandatory EHS rules/regulations, including communication materials, inspection and audit reports/materials etc., to ensure major activities are properly documented according to requirement.
- Other EHS related works assigned by supervisor.

- Education: Bachelor and above in chemistry, chemical engineering ,environmental protection or safety related discipline
- Working Experience: More than 3 years EHS experience or chemical industry experience
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: EHS related regulations and standards
- Language: Fluent English in reading, listening and writing
