As part of Global Digital Services unit, we at Communication and Workforce Enablement contribute to make Digitalization a true part of BASF's DNA. With teams dedicated to our digital and agile transformation, we offer training, coaching, consulting, communication and other services to BASF globally.

In this role, you will act as a key contact person in China for demand regarding people and culture topics of the digital and agile transformation. You will be a trusted sparring partner and you will conduct trainings, workshops and provide other services within our portfolio for teams in China. In addition, you will be part of the global leadership team of our unit to align global offerings with regional demands and to develop new services based on demands of our internal business partners.

- You will deliver digital solutions, to empower BASF services towards our internal & external customers.
- You will work in an agile and self-organized way. You not only manage solutions but also operations and maintenance as a valuable part of your daily work.
- You are part of a global team, which has built itself a platform to efficiently develop, maintain and enhance their delivered applications. Part of your daily job will be to drive the future refinements and innovations of this platform with regards to user requirement according to market demands, customer feedback and business strategy.
- You will close collaboration with Global Digital Product teams and closely aligned with the Global Digital product strategy as well as to the China Digital local market trends
- You can prioritize, coordinate and manage the development and deployment of innovative digital products for China market as well as ensuring that the development stay aligned with business goals and KPI benefits for China
- You can bring in a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs

- 至少 8 年以上

- You have a degree or a comparable education in the field of computer and information science.
- Minimum 8+ years
- You have trackable and on-hands software development skills, strong & solid technical solution and architecture design experience, know-how on China B2B market in designing e-commerce and digital marketing (SCRM) technical solutions & digital landscape.
- You will be direct involvement and/or support on the scope definition and design solution offerings that meet user and business requirements.
- Specializing in software development or computer/software engineering, and a solid understanding and skills in object-oriented programming
- 5 years of software engineering / development, assess and optimize system design, as digital solution architecture role.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in designing microservices, headless and cloud native architecture
- 2 years of web front-end development experience, with practical development experience in one or more front-end development frameworks such as Vue2/Vue3/Angular/React, familiar with Typescript/ECMAScript, familiar with responsive layout, familiar with PWA. Experienced with RxJs.
- 2 years of back-end development experience, with practical development experience in one or more back-end development languages such as Java/Nodejs/Golang/python/C#, familiar with spring framework include but not limited to spring boot spring data spring webflux spring security, familiar with one or more databases such as MS SQL/ MySQL/ Oracle/ PostgreSQL/ MariaDB
- Strong understanding of design principles such as SOLID, DRY and OOPS
- Knowhow of Sec DevOps experience and IAC with Terraform on the Microsoft Azure cloud.
- Knowhow with Azure DevOps boards, pipelines, releases, and test plans
- Knowhow with oAuth SSL and other basic commonly used protocol.
- Familiar with China local sales and marketing solutions as well as its eco-systems include but not limited with WeChat
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills in the technical domain to demonstrate a clear design logic and overseeing solutions capability, capacity and availability for all digital systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps Agile process and methodology
- Demonstrated architectural thinking to solve problems
- Logic to present & roadshow solution design to business stakeholders is a strong plus.
- Fluent Mandarin and English skills

Digital Hub China was founded in 2020 in Nanjing. As part of the Global Digital Hub Verbund, the hub is rapidly growing with a target of a three-digit number of employees in coming years. Focused on digitalization and innovative IT solutions to enhance BASF’s IT portfolio and expertise in China, it brings an all-around capable team of digital talents to create solutions in the context of China’s unique digital landscape to BASF. It also contributes to the smart manufacturing endeavors for the new mega project in Zhanjiang.
