Job description

Main Tasks:
- Responsibility for project-based research and development in collaboration with others
- Gain and maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and contribute to the process of a project
- Investigate, create, and develop new methods and technologies for project advancement
- Under supervision of lab team leader perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment
- Make detailed observations, analyzes data, and interprets results
- Document results, prepare technical reports, protocols, and quantitative analyses
- Prepare, run and maintain lab equipment such as reactors, analyzing equipment, etc.
- Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab house-keeping) as assigned
- Comply with regulations concerning safety, health and environment
- Close cooperation and exchange with different departments and units

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (preferably polymer synthesis or organic synthesis related)
- 1-2 years working experience in the chemical/materials industry would be a plus
- Excellent oral English; good written English; Strong hands-on ability
