Your will provide the foundation of data management and governance in the years to come.

 

Responsibilities

 

·  As part of the Business Object coordination team, you orchestrate, implement, and further develop a data modelling methodology that describes, link, and makes data discoverable and re-usable in business terms.
·  You develop semantic data models for Business Objects with a standard vocabulary in form of Ontologies and create business and technical documentation in the BASF data catalog
·  You steer a functional team in close collaboration with product specialists, engineers, and product owners to support business requirements, bring information areas to live and recommend viable options and data solutions
·  You organize complex matters, processes, system, and data together and break it down in reasonable action items to develop further data domains
·  Apply data governance strategies and ensure security compliance while implementing best practices in managing generic data sets
·  Perform data quality checks and analysis to identify gaps or anomalies in the data and opportunities for data enhancement

 

Qualifications

 

·  Degree in Economics or Computer Science or IT-related field (e.g. business informatics)
·  3-5 years of project management or data management experience, principles, practices, and techniques used in managing information.
·  Knowledgeable in relevant data standards, data modelling, data management systems, ontologies, and data cataloguing
·  Excellent communication in English with strong presentation and moderation skills team player with innovation drive, analytical thinking, and consulting skills
·  Experience working with knowledge graphs stores; Web Protege; Protege; OWL; SQL and SAP of advantage
