Job description

Main Tasks:
1. Clarification of project specific authority approval/permitting procedures (esp. support on project approval and, concept design plan, planning permit construction permits, final acceptance, etc. )
2. Responsible for project permitting activities, esp. PAR, concept design plan, planning permit, construction permits, final acceptance, etc.
3. Support project team during authority engineering
4. Represent owner throughout authority engineering
5. Review and coordinate assessments and reports prepared by Chinese Design Institutes
6. Establish and maintain good relationship with local officials
7. Collect and update approval and permitting information
8. Supervision and coordination with different clusters or departments in BASF

Requirements:
Education:
1. Bachelor degree with major in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferable) -

Working Experience and Technical & Professional Knowledge:
1. At least more than 5 years total work experiences mandatory
2. At least more than 3 years work experiences in specific professional field (in engineering function) preferable
3. At least more than 3 years work experiences in chemical andpetrochemical industry preferable
4. Work experiences in engineering industry would be an advantage
5. Work experiences in other industry would be an advantage
6. International work experiences preferable
7. Leadership experiences preferable
8. Work experiences as Team player mandatory

Core skills required for the position:
1. Fluent written Chinese (Mandarin) and verbal communication skills mandatory
2. Fluent English skills preferable
3. Skilled in authority engineering preferable
4. Skilled in chemical engineering preferable
