Snr Exec, Marine Underwriter

You'll be responsible for:

·  Decision making in underwriting of risks within Company guidelines.
·  Provide technical support and training to Branches, intermediaries and clients.
·  Process and issue Quotation/Risk Document, statistic and report within Dept timeline and Quality standard, and to provide analysis recommendations
·  To drive all OPUS/ALPHA Marine systems/ IT Projects until successful completion & to manage/upkeep the eMarine system & other internal control system within Dept timeline and recommend immediate corrective actions to be taken by branch and/or Dept where necessary.
·  To support team leader to continuously review workflow/process and provide recommendations to improve delivery standards
·  Any other duties as and when deemed necessary

 

 

Important to your success:

·  Degree in Business / Finance / Actuarial / ICT or Insurance Studies.
·  Talents with more than 2 years of relevant work experience in Marine Portfolio.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high learning agility plus work efficiency.
·  Fluent in both written and spoken English, with good communication skills.
·  Strong computer application skills, eg: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
·  Advantage to candidates with AMII qualification or equivalent.
